if its telephone, relax. and make sure to smile, the other line can tell by your voice if you are not smiling. smiling raises your voice and makes you sound cheerful. also make sure that you seem people oriented.Tips for an Estee Lauder interview?
I dunno about the questions but whatever they are, remember this: show some class! Estee Lauder is not a cheap brand. They sure want someone that's classy, elegant, and well-spoken.
i have no idea what they would ask, but it's important that you smile and mention in some way that you're outgoing. be yourself and try to make the interviewer laugh, if possible.

ReplyDeleteI had an Estee Lauder phone interview just last week. I figured I'd be asked about product knowledge, etc, but was not.
Instead, the phone interview consists of generic sales questions, and are asked by a person not having a say in whether you are hired or not. Their job is to simply ask these questions and submit them to the executive director.
Be sure to practice before your interview is scheduled. They will ask you certain sales related questions, then ask you to give an EXAMPLE of every answer you give, so that is why I recommend to practice.
Practice answering questions like "Describe the process you would take to sell an item." "Do you feel that it is more important to have product knowledge or personal experience? Then, give an example." "Would you consider yourself more customer service or sales oriented? Then, give an example."
The interview should only be about 30 minutes long. GOOD LUCK!
