Bare minerals vs estee lauder double wear foundation?

alright. once again i'm trying to find the right foundation. i heard bare minreals is incredible but i have very dry skin and i break out easily. ontop of that it's summer in florida and i live in miami :( super gross. all my makeup sweats off. i have a few acne scars so i need something that will cover good and won't sweat off. which one should i purchase?Bare minerals vs estee lauder double wear foundation?
I love bare minerals!! I live in Cali, and I wear it all the time, even in the summer.. just make sure you clean your face before bed so u dont break out.. and also clean the brushes...

I've heard both ends of bare minerals so I'm a little skeptical to spend $60 on it. I love Estee Lauder products, but Bare Minerals works really well for most people. I'd say try out the bare minerals product, I'm pretty sure you can get your money back if it sucks or something.
From experience, I have used both and I love the double wear better. It has the best coverage in one step, looks more natural, with the foundation brush it goes on easily, quickly, and doesn't take much to cover you entire face in just one step. It won't come off if you sweat or run your hand across your face or your shirt rubs against your face when you put it on or its raining. You need the take it away make up remover by estee lauder to take it off at the end of the day.





The bare minerals is more complicated, you have several different powders to buy and you have to do them in several steps. It looks powdery on your face, especially if you have dry skin. And even though they claim it won't come off, it does.





But make up is a personaly preference and works differently on different people's skin. So, I think you should visit the department store in your local mall, like Macy's, and go to the estee lauder counter to have them try it on your face. Visit them early in the day so you can see how it works for you all day long. Take a picture of it right when you finish and then at the end of the day. (Now, keep in mind, they won't put on as much as you would put on yourself because they tend to be a bit stingy with the product). Do the same the next day at the bare minerals store. Then compare pictures and everything.


Or you can always drop by and tell them you are interested in getting a sample so you can see how well you like it on your face all day long.
